　　集成化生物技術——生物上、中、下游集成化技術(如：Cell factory; Lab-on-a-chip, etc.)與機理研究，涉及微生物制藥、生物分子轉化與降解及生物分離（蛋白質分離與復性）等領域。理論上，研究分子生物學原理（基因表達調控）與發酵調控原理（環境因子調控），通過代謝工程與系統生物學及現代生物技術等手段解決中下游生物技術中的難題，特別是微生物轉化降解、重組蛋白（酶）表達、及生物分離過程中難題。應用上重點研究甾體藥物，涉及蛋白質（酶）藥物和　　生物大分子與再生資源的生物轉化與降解。
