教書育人：
具有扎實的學科理論知識，不斷追尋國內外本學科最新發展動態，以嚴謹的教學態度教書育人。主講本科課程《環境生態學》、《污染生態學》、《環境保護與可持續發展》等及碩士研究生課程《環境學原理》、《污染生態學》。教學效果受到學生好評。

主持完成的科研成果：
1．“重金屬污染廢水處理的濕地植物篩選及凈化機理研究”，2007年常州市科技局驗收通過。
2．“太湖流域農田面源污染源監測及排污系數測算研究”，2008年江蘇省科技廳驗收通過。
3．“水稻高產栽培面源污染產排系數及其控制技術的研究”，2010年常州市科技局驗收通過。
4．“常州市‘十二五’農業科技發展規劃研究”，2010年常州市科技局驗收通過。
