田玉平，1964年出生。教授，博士生導師，復雜系統控制研究所所長。教育部“長江學者獎勵計劃”特聘教授（第四批，控制理論與控制工程學科）,國家杰出青年基金獲得者（2004年）。1986年清華大學自動化系本科畢業，獲學士學位；1991年莫斯科動力學院自動化與計算機技術系研究生畢業，獲前蘇聯自動控制專業技術科學副博士學位(PhD)；1996年獲俄羅斯自動控制專業技術科學博士學位(ScD)。

?社會兼職：
中國自動化學會控制理論專業委員會委員、中國人工智能學會智能空天系統專業委員會委員，江蘇省自動化學會常務理事，Associate Editor of “Journal of Control Theory and Applications”，《控制與決策》、《控制理論與應用》和《東南大學學報》的編委，東南大學教工網球協會（首任）會長等。
