廣東外語外貿大學管理學科源遠流長，最早可以追溯到1982年原廣州對外貿易學院的企業管理專業。2001年5月，成立廣東外語外貿大學國際工商管理學院。2014年國際工商管理學院與MBA學院合并成為商學院。商學院以“培養國際高端商科人才”為使命，以“成為國際化特色鮮明的高水平商學院”為發展愿景。

SOB of GDUFS enjoys a long history. Traced back to 1982, it was an outgrowth of the Department of Business Management of the former Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Trade. In May, 2001, the School of Management of GDUFS was established. In 2014, it was merged with the Graduate School of Business to form SOB. Committed to a vision of growing into a top-tier internationalized business school with distinctive features and excellent quality, SOB aims to cultivate international business talents of high quality.

廣東外語外貿大學商學院與經管學部共同建有應用經濟學一級學科博士點，擁有工商管理和管理科學與工程2個一級學科碩士點，有企業管理、技術經濟及管理、旅游管理3個二級學科碩士點和工商管理碩士、應用心理學碩士2個專業學位授權點，有工商管理、市場營銷、人力資源管理、物流管理、電子商務5個本科專業，下設工商管理（國際創新班）和工商管理（商務管理創新班）。

SOB offers a First-level Doctoral Program of Applied Economics co-established with Economics and Management Division, 2 First-level Master’s Degree Programs of Business Administration and Management Science and Engineering, 3 Second-level Master’s Degree Programs of Business Management, Technological Economics and Management, and Tourism Management, and 2 Professional Master’s Degree Programs in Master of Business Administration and Master of Applied Psychology. SOB provides 5 undergraduate programs of Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources Management, Logistic Management and E-commerce, and has established Business Administration (International Innovation Class) and Business Administration (International Business Innovation Class) .

2013年，工商管理學科被列為廣東省優勢重點學科。2014年，學院獲批為廣東省國際化創新型工商管理人才培養模式創新試驗區。2015年，學院通過AMBA國際認證。2016年，《商業倫理與社會責任》被評為國家級精品視頻公開課程；學院啟動EPAS國際認證，并獲得EFMD會員資格。2017年，學院啟動AACSB國際認證，并獲得會員資格；啟動CAMEA認證并獲得認證資格；MBA項目獲評騰訊中國優質特色MBA項目；工商管理學科在教育部第四輪學科評估中獲評B-，專業排名為全國前30-40%。2018年,《全球化商科人才“4＋2”培養模式的構建與實踐》獲廣東省教學成果獎（高等教育）一等獎；廣外工商管理學科獲批為廣東省高水平大學建設計劃重點學科；學院通過AMBA再認證，獲得EPAS國際認證資格；獲評“2018年度品牌價值商學院”；國際絲路創業教育聯盟廣州基地落戶我院。

In 2013, the Business Administration discipline was listed as an advantageous key discipline of Guangdong Province. In 2014, SOB was approved as the innovation pilot area of Guangdong Province on the talent training model of international innovation and business management. In 2015, SOB attained AMBA accreditation. In 2016,Business Ethics and Social Responsibility was awarded National High-quality Public Video Course. Also, SOB launched EPAS International Accreditation and received EFMD membership. In 2017, SOB was accredited and granted a membership of AACSB, as well as initiated and qualified CAMEA accreditation. In the same year, MBA program was awarded Outstanding and Distinct Program by Tencent. What’s more, the Business Administration discipline received the rating of B- in the 4th China University Subject Rankings (CUSR), with its subjects ranking top 30-40% nationwide. In 2018,The Design and Practice of “4+2” Training Model for Cultivating Global Business Talents won the first prize in Teaching Achievement Award of Guangdong Province (Higher Education). And the Business Administration discipline was approved to be a key discipline of High-Level University Construction Plan of Guangdong Province. The year 2018 also witnessed the success of AMBA re-accreditation, EPAS accreditation qualification, the awarding of “2018 Brand Value Business School” and the founding of Guangzhou Base of the Silk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network in SOB.

2019年，《國際認證驅動的國際化管理人才培養模式構建與實踐》獲廣東省教學成果獎（高等教育類）二等獎；工商管理和市場營銷專業獲國家一流專業建設點；獲評“2019年度知名品牌MBA項目”、“2019年度中國商學院最具特色MBA項目”等榮譽稱號；2020年，人力資源管理專業獲批國家級一流本科專業建設點；電子商務專業獲批省級一流本科專業建設點；人力資源管理專業獲批為廣東省重點專業；學院通過了EPAS國際認證，成為全國第3家，全球第90家獲此認證的商學院；《商業倫理與企業社會責任》全英慕課首批入選愛課程國際平臺；《商業倫理與企業社會責任》和《運營管理》課程被認定為省級一流課程；新認定全英雙語課程數9門次（總數達到46門次）；MBA獲評騰訊商學院“2020年度商科教育典范院校”稱號、入選“2020年度中國商學院最佳MBA項目TOP100”榜單；“跨國并購與創新戰略研究中心”獲批建設廣東省普通高校人文社科重點研究基地；廣東省人力資源研究會獲評省級大學生實踐教學基地；與歐盟合作的項目ERASMUS+LMPT結項評估獲評“優秀”等級。2020年中國畢業生平均薪酬排名廣外位居全國第13位，廣東省第一位。2021年，學院通過AMBA第二次再認證和BGA（金牌）認證，成為全國第8所獲得AMBA和BGA聯合認證的院校；軟科中國學科排名中我院工商管理學科排名上升至前21%。

In 2019,The Construction and Practice of International Certification-driven International Management Talent Training Model won the second prize of Guangdong Teaching Achievement Award (Higher Education). Business Administration and Marketing were awarded the National First-class Programs Construction. The two programs were titled “2019 Well-known Brand MBA Program” and the “2019 Most Distinctive MBA Program of Chinese Business Schools” respectively. In 2020, the Human Resource Management program was approved as the national first-class teaching site for undergraduate programs as well as the key program of Guangdong Province. E-commerce program has been selected as the provincial first-class teaching site for undergraduate programs. The year 2020 also witnessed that the school was the third in mainland China and the 90thin the world to be accredited by EPAS.Business Ethics and Social Responsibilities was selected as one of the MOOC on the international platform of iCourse. Principles of Management and Business Ethics and Operations Management courses were recognized as the first-class courses at the provincial level. The number of newly-recognized English-only bilingual courses has upped to 9 (46 in total). Last but not least, MBA was titled “Model School of Business Education in 2020” by Tencent and was listed in “Top 100 Best MBA Programs of Chinese Business Schools in 2020”. The Strategic Research Center of Transnational Merger and Acquisition and Innovation has been approved to build a key research base for humanities and social sciences in regular higher education universities in Guangdong Province. Guangdong Academy of Human Resources was approved as the provincial base for internship and teaching. The Erasmus + LMPT project cooperated with the European Union was evaluated as “excellent” level. The average salary of graduates from GDUFS was ranked 13th in China in 2020 and first in Guangdong Province. The School obtained AMBA re-accreditation and BGA accreditation in May, 2021, becoming the 8th AMBA & BGA joint accredited school in China. Business Administration rated in the top 21% in China according to the 2021 Soft Science Ranking of Chinese Universities Subject.

學院現有教職工103人，其中專任教師77人，教授24人、副教授29人，云山杰出學者2人，云山青年學者14人，境外教師5人，近70%的教師具有海外（境外）學位或海外（境外）研修經歷；學院另有廣東外語外貿大學云山工作室首席專家3人、云山講座教授2人、長期或短期聘用外教近10人，并聘請了50多位國內外著名管理學家、經濟學家和企業家為客座教授或校外碩士生導師，形成了一支富于創新、勇于實踐、知識結構和年齡結構合理的教師隊伍，為建設一流商學院奠定了師資基礎。

SOB currently has 103 full-time teaching and administrative staff, among whom 77 are lecturers, 24 professors, 29 associate professors, 2 Yunshan Outstanding Scholars, 14 Yunshan Youth Scholars and 5 foreign teachers. Nearly 70% of the faculties hold an overseas degree or have overseas education experience. SOB has 3 Chief Experts from Yunshan Studio of GDUFS, 2 Yunshan Chair Professor and about 10 foreign teachers with long- or short-term contracts. Over 50 famous management experts, economists and entrepreneurs all over the world are invited as visiting professors or off-campus master supervisors. SOB strives to build a faculty team with a strong sense of innovation, great courage of practice, a reasonable structure of education background and age, laying a solid teaching basis for constructing a first-class business school.

學院現有1個省級人文社會科學重點研究基地、1個教育部備案區域與國別研究中心（拉丁美洲研究中心）、6個校級人文社會科學重點研究基地和研究團隊、1個中外共建合作研究中心（廣外-梅西大學可持續發展與企業社會責任研究中心），形成了以企業國際化為核心特色的重點研究方向，科研成果明顯。近年來，在《管理世界》、《Tourism management》等國內外權威期刊上發表高水平論文160余篇；近100個國家級、省部級項目獲得立項，其中國家社科重大課題項目3項；出版著作、教材及譯著等100余部；近50份咨詢報告被省級及以上政府或領導采納，其中中央最高領導人批示報告2份。

SOB has 1 provincial research base for humanities and social sciences, 1 Research Center for Latin America Studies which is a regional and national research center registered in the Ministry of Education, 6 key research bases and teams for humanities and social sciences, and 1 international cooperative research center (GDUFS-Massey University Sustainable Development and CSR Research Center). With enterprise internationalization as the key research direction of distinctive characteristics, SOB has accomplished inspiring academic achievements. In recent years, over 160 high-quality papers have been published in authoritative journals such as Management World and Tourism management.SOB has also launched nearly 100 national or provincial projects, among which 3 are national social science key topics. Moreover, more than 100 monographs, textbooks or translated works have been published. Nearly 50 consulting reports have been adopted by governments at provincial level or above, among which 2 were approved by the central government.

學院積極推進國際化戰略，已與美國亞利桑那州立大學、澳大利亞昆士蘭大學、新西蘭梅西大學、英國蘭卡斯特大學、法國格列諾布爾商學院、智利圣托馬斯大學、韓國蔚山大學、韓國釜慶大學、印度澤維爾創業管理學院等近50所國（境）外院校建立了合作關系，開展了科研合作、教師互換、學生交換、本科或碩士雙學位聯合培養、本碩連讀培養、聯合舉辦學術會議及海外游學等合作項目。每年中外學生互訪或交流約200人次。

SOB actively promotes the internationalization strategy. To date, it has cooperated with nearly 50 famous international colleges and universities like Arizona State University, University of Queensland, Massey University of New Zealand, University of Lancaster, Grenoble Business School, University of Santo Tomas, University of Ulsan, Pukyong National University and Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship. The cooperation covers scientific research, faculty and student exchanges, double-degree programs for undergraduates and postgraduates, bachelor and master degree liaison, joint academic conferences and overseas study trips. There are about 200 visits and exchanges between Chinese and foreign students each year.

學院一貫重視學生的創新創業能力、實踐應用能力、思辨能力和溝通能力的培養，學生在各級各類比賽中獲得多個國家級獎項。同時，學院建有國際絲路創業教育聯盟廣州基地、廣東省跨境電商行業協會創業孵化基地，大力推動“一帶一路”背景下的全球創業教育事業。

SOB has always been attaching great importance to the cultivation of students’ innovation and entrepreneurship, practical capabilities, critical thinking, and communication skills. Students have won national awards in various competitions. At the same time, SOB has established the Guangzhou Platform of the Silk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network, as well as the Entrepreneurship Incubation Base of the Guangdong Cross-border E-commerce Industry Association to vigorously promote the global entrepreneurship education under the background of the Belt and Road Initiative.

商學院畢業生綜合素質高，就業競爭能力強，普遍受到用人單位的歡迎，呈現高就業率和高層次就業良好態勢。學生就業去向率多年高于廣東省平均水平，多次被學校評為“就業先進集體”。學生就業方向包括外資企業（雀巢、西門子、可口可樂、寶潔、箭牌、四大會計師事務所、渣打銀行等）；國有企業（中國移動、中國電信、中國石化、四大國有商業銀行、中國郵政等）；民營企業（百度、阿里巴巴、騰訊、網易、海爾、華為、碧桂園、美的、TCL、富力地產等）；政府機關（外交部、新華社、紀委、海關、稅務局、公安廳等）。學生出國留學的學校有美國哥倫比亞大學、美國卡耐基梅隆大學、美國范德堡大學、倫敦大學等。我院擁有推免研究生資格，每年均推薦或接收優秀學生免試攻讀碩士學位。

Graduates from SOB are of high comprehensive qualities and strong competitiveness in employment. They are well received by employers, showing a high employment rate and employment quality. The employment destination rate of students has been higher than the average level of Guangdong Province for many years, making SOB as a “pioneer for employment” in GDUFS for times. The graduates are employed in foreign-funded enterprises (including Nestle, Siemens, Coca-Cola, Procter&Gamble, Wrigley, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, Ernst & Young, Standard Chartered Bank), state-owned enterprises (including China Mobile, China Telecom, Sinopec, ICBC, BOC, CCB, ABC, and China Post); private enterprises (Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, NetEase, Haier, Huawei, Country Garden, Midea, TCL, R&FProperties); government agencies (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Xinhua News Agency, Commission for Discipline Inspection, Customs, Taxation Administration, and Public Security Department). Overseas study destinations include Columbia University, Carnegie Mellon University, Vanderbilt University, and University of London. SOB is eligible to send and receive postgraduate students exempt from the Unified National Graduate Entrance Examination.
