　　1989年本科畢業于安徽科技學院畜牧獸醫系，1992年碩士畢業于南京農業大學后回安徽科技學院任教。期間于1996.8-1997.6在對外經濟貿易大學德語中心集訓，1997.8-1998.6作為國家教委代表團的成員訪問德國，1998.4-1999.12在安徽科技學院主持畜牧獸醫系行政工作。2005.12畢業于美國Auburn大學獸醫學院，獲生物醫學博士學位。2010.5-2012.7任Ross大學獸醫學院助理教授，2012.8被聘為“江蘇特聘教授”并加盟揚州大學獸醫學院，2013.4被聘為美國奧本大學客座教授。
　　主要從事肺炎衣原體發病機理、分子診斷學、感染和慢性炎癥性疾病相關性的研究。迄今已申請/獲得13項國際、國內專利，發表論文45篇，在The Journal of Infectious Diseases, Infection and Immunity, Genetics, Genes and Immunity, Journal of Clinical Microbiology 等SCI期刊上發表論文25篇。現為Journal of Microbiology and Microbial Research 的主編， Journal of Infection in Developing Countries 的科學編輯，以及International Journal of Diabetes 和Open Veterinary Journal 的編委。

　　分子診斷學、獸醫微生物學和感染性肥胖（infectobesity）的分子機理。
