工作經歷
1993-1997年,水下光測量和Monte-Carlo模擬。開發了一個光纖儀器系統,可以測量太陽照射下自然水體中的非彈性散射(Raman散射,葉綠素和CDOM熒光)。第一次實現了以被動方式測量自然環境中水分子的Raman散射,并獲得Ocean Optics XIII的最佳學者論文獎。
1998年至今,海洋遙感:從理論.儀器.算法到應用。工作主要集中于通過各種平臺,包括船載.機載和星載傳感器,進行海岸帶海色遙感研究。主要成就有:針對生物光學測量的現場儀器(flow-through系統.測量水面上反射比的儀器.測量協約)的開發;星載傳感器與現場傳感器的定標;海色傳感器在混濁的沿岸水域,以及Landsat在淺水的大氣校正算法的開發;對海色衛星傳感器的生物光學反演算法的改進與應用;應用這些改進的算法來研究海洋現象,包括河流羽狀分布水體(他們分散路徑和各種成分的強度).海岸的流出.陰影水體事件.赤潮.沉積羽狀水體.海色異常.珊瑚礁環境健康狀況.和初級生產力。

研究興趣
致力于沿海的、大陸和大陸邊緣的海色遙感:儀器和協約,算法(數據縮減、大氣校正和生物光學反演),各種平臺(船載、機載、錨碇儀器、和衛星)。現在的研究主要集中在大量的河流羽狀水體對鄰近海洋的生物地球化學性質和碳循環造成影響的量化上,并尋求確定沿岸資源管理的業務化數據產品的解決方法。還對各種沿岸的海洋現象,包括沉積羽狀物和動力學、海岸的侵蝕、異常事件、以及赤潮形成和緩解。
技能
對大氣和海洋輻射傳遞的有全面透徹的了解;
豐富的計算機知識,可以在各種平臺上執行程序代碼,包括UNIX and LINUX, IDL, FORTRAN, C語言(教了一門關于IDL編程的研究生課程);
能勝任儀器的設計、運行和野外工作;
有其他相關學科研究的知識(物理的、生物的、和化學的海洋學,GIS,陸地遙感)
