　　個人簡介
　　楊周旺（Zhouwang Yang），男，福建省福安人。1993年從福建省寧德地區民族中學考入中國科學技術大學數學系就讀本科；1997年畢業參加4－3分流，2000年取得“運籌學與控制論”專業碩士學位；隨后留校任教，并于2005年獲計算數學博士學位。2006．12--2007．11，在韓國首爾國立大學（Seoul National University）做博士后研究。2010．8--2011．8，在佐治亞理工學院工業與系統工程系（ISyE@GaTech）訪學。2012年入選教育部新世紀優秀人才支持計劃。
　　研究方向及興趣：計算幾何，最優化理論與算法，統計學習，壓縮感知理論及應用。

　　教學情況
　　主講過的本科生課程：
　　線性代數，數學建模，運籌學，計算方法，數理經濟學等。
　　主講過的研究生課程：
　　樣條函數，逼近論，最優化算法等。
　　教學研究項目：
　　數學建模競賽與教學（校級），2003．6--2005．5；
　　數學建模對創新能力培養的研究（省級），2005．1--2007．12。
　　2001年至2006年一直負責并承擔我校的數學建模教改課程的教學以及中科大參加全國大學生數學建模競賽和美國大學生數學建模競賽的組織、選拔、培訓、指導等工作，并取得優異成績。期間中科大數模代表隊共獲得全國賽一等獎4個、二等獎10個和美國賽一等獎12個、二等獎13個。

　　科研情況
　　近來比較關注實際應用問題及其解決方法。
　　感興趣的研究領域包括計算幾何、最優化算法，統計學習，數據建模分析，壓縮感知理論及應用。
