　　1982年1月畢業于重慶大學機械制造工藝設備及自動化專業，獲工學學士學位；1987年9月至1992年10月在重慶大學機械學專業碩、博連讀，于1992年10月博士畢業并獲工學博士學位。

　　機械工程與自動化學院院長，教授，博士生導師，四川省學科帶頭人后備人選、四川省有突出貢獻優秀專家、中國機械工程學會高級會員、中國機械工程學會工業自動化分會委員、中國機械工程學會齒輪制造專業委員會委員、中國人工智能學會理事、中國人工智能學會足球機器人工作委員會副主任委員、FIRA中國分會西南支部長、四川省機械工程學會工業信息化專業委員會主任委員。
　　
　　研究方向：1、機構與機械傳動技術；2、機器人技術。

　　1、 獲獎情況：
　　1）“地方院校大學生科技制作與創新素質培養體系的構建與實踐”，四川省教學成果一等獎，2009；
　　2）“地方院校人才培養模式多樣化的研究與實踐”，四川省教學成果一等獎，2005；
　　3）“地方工科院校實驗室體制改革模式研究與實踐”，四川省教學成果一等獎，2001。

　　1）“滾錐包絡蝸桿傳動的研究”，國家“七五”科技攻關項目，1990年12月通過國家級驗收；
　　2）“足球機器人智能決策系統與方法的研究”， 四川省科技廳應用基礎項目，2006年6月通過省科技廳組織的鑒定；
　　3）“無側隙雙滾子包絡環面蝸桿傳動的研究”， 國家自然科學基金項目，2011年5月通過國家自然科學基金委員會結題驗收。
