吳孝兵，男， 理學博士，安徽全椒人。現為安徽師范大學教授，博士生導師，校科研處副處長；“皖江學者”計劃講席教授，安徽省學術與技術帶頭人。《動物學報》（第九屆）、《動物學研究》（第七屆）和《動物學雜志》（第十屆）編委會委員。曾在Molecular phylogentic and Evolution, Biological Conservation，Gene等刊物發表第一作者或通訊作者學術論文120余篇，主持出版及合作出版專著2部，合作主編教材2部等。目前已主持國家自然科學基金4項及安徽省優秀青年基金項等省部級研究項目多項；獲安徽省科學技術獎（自然科學類）二等獎（主持）等多項，并于2005年獲安徽省政府特殊津帖，2006年獲安徽省青年科技獎。

1、學習經歷
1988.09—1991.07：安徽師范大學動物學專業畢業，獲理學碩士學位，并留校任教；
1998.09—2001.07：南京師范大學動物學專業畢業，獲理學博士學位；
2004.01—2004.02：在美國自然歷史博物館從事合作研究；并曾先后前往美國、英國、澳大利亞和法國等國家進行學術交流活動。

1991.07—至今：留校任教至今
1994.12—1999.11：安徽師范大學副教授；
1999.11—至今：安徽師范大學教授。
1996.06—至今：被聘為動物學專業碩士研究生導師；
2003.11—至今：被聘為安徽師范大學生態學專業博士生導師；
1997.12—2009.5：安徽省首批跨世紀學科與技術帶頭人后備人選；
2009.05—至今：安徽省首批學術與技術帶頭人。
