  個人中文簡介
  李煒,廈門大學眼科研究所、廈門大學附屬廈門眼科中心、福建省眼科與視覺科學重點實驗室教授,博士生導師。中華眼科學會角膜病學組委員,中華眼科雜志通訊編委,中華細胞與干細胞移植雜志編委,亞洲角膜病學會會員,美國視覺與眼科研究學會會員,美國眼科學會會員,國際眼表疾病學會會員。1994年畢業于皖南醫學院,獲醫學學士學位,1999年畢業于同濟醫科大學(現華中科技大學同濟醫學院),獲眼科學碩士學位。2003年5月至2007年1月在美國邁阿密 Ocular Surface Center 從事博士后研究工作,并擔任生物技術公司TissueTech Inc.研究與發展部的研究科學家。近五年來,在眼科學、病理學、細胞生物學等多學科領域SCI收錄期刊上發表論文30余篇,其中第一作者9篇,通訊作者5篇,研究成果申請了6項美國專利。目前主要從事角膜上皮干細胞增殖與分化的基因調控,角膜上皮干細胞移植,眼表面重建,以及角膜組織工程方面的研究。承擔1項國家重大科學研究計劃項目子課題,1 項國家重大科學儀器設備開發項目子課題,3項國家自然科學基金面上項目,1項福建省杰出青年基金項目,1項人事部留學人員科技項目,參與6項國家及省部級科研項目。2011年入選福建省新世紀優秀人才,2012年被確認為廈門市引進的重點人才。
  
  個人英文簡介
  Dr. Wei Li graduated from Wannan Medical College in 1994, and got his Master’s degree from Tongji Medical University in 1999. After that, he had been worked as a chief ophthalmologist in Shenzhen for 4 years. From May 2003 to Feb 2007, he had been trained in Ocular Surface Center (Miami, Florida, USA) under the guidance of Dr. Scheffer C G Tseng. During his post-doctoral fellowship, he conducted basic research on corneal limbal stem cell, amniotic membrane, and corneal tissue engineering. In March 2007, he joined
  Xiamen University Medical College, and worked as associate professor, and then professor of Ophthalmology till now in the Eye Institute of Xiamen University. He also works as a cornea and ocular surface disease specialist in Xiamen Eye Center.
  Dr. Li has published more than 30 papers on peer-reviewed journals such as IOVS, JPathol, Cell Res, J Biol Chem, J Cell Physiol, Stem Cells, Am J Physiol, and Exp Eye Res,
and so on. He also contributed to chapters of four scientific books published in China or United States. Eight US or Chinese patents have been filed based on his research findings.He has obtained several awards from municipal and provincial government, including Prize for Progress in Science and Technology, and Yunsheng Youth Science andTechnology Prize.
  Dr. Li continuously focuses his basic research on corneal limbal stem cell and cornealtissue engineering, and clinic research on ocular surface reconstruction, as well as the treatment of severe ocular surface and corneal diseases. His research projects were supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science
Foundation of Fujian province, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China.
  Dr. Li is now active member of several academic societies such as Chinese Medical
Association (CMA), Asian Cornea Society (ACS), Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), International Ocular Surface Society (IOSS), American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), and American Physiology Society (APS). He is committee member of Chinese Cornea Society, communication editor of Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology, editor of Chinese Journal of Cell Transplantation & Stem Cell Transplantation, reviewer of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and reviewer of several international journals.
