　　本科畢業于中山大學生物化學專業，后獲中山大學遺傳學碩士學位，2004年8月在香港科技大學獲生物學哲學博士學位。1998年至2000年任職于中山大學生物工程研究中心，期間主要從事植物病毒基因克隆和植物基因工程的研究；2004年至2005年間任職香港科技大學生物系，期間主要從事植物分子生物學、功能基因組與蛋白組學研究工作；2007年4月開始至今在華南理工大學輕工與食品學院工作，主要從事蛋白酶與脂類代謝調控等研究。主持國家自然科學基金青年基金項目“ 集胞藻6803中蛋白酶EGY1同源蛋白的鑒定及其基因表達調控與功能分析”（項目編號30800609，2009~2011），參與國家自然科學基金項目“雪藻適應極端環境脅迫分子機制的脂組學研究”（項目編號20876058，2009~2011），并獲中央高校基本科研業務費項目資助。

　　1) 在膜切割的金屬蛋白酶在植物和藍藻中的基因表達調控、功能及其在醫藥和食品上應用的研究
　　2) 轉基因藻類作為生物反應器生產醫藥及其它外源功能活性蛋白
　　3) 微藻生物質能源的開發與利用
　　4) 高通量篩選活性因子的細胞模型的建構與應用
